Recently, the producer's X/Twitter account confirmed new cast members for Season 2, including Rigo Sanchez as Monkey D. Dragon, Yonda Thomas as Igaram, and James Hiroyuki Liao as Ipponmatsu. Previously, Netflix introduced an exciting lineup featuring Joe Manganiello (Crocodile), Callum Kerr (Smoker), Julia Rehwald (Tashigi), Charithra Chandran (Miss Wednesday/Nefertari Vivi), and Katey Sagal (Dr. Kureha). Additionally, Sophia Anne Caruso (Miss Goldenweek), Mark Penwill (Chess), and Anton David Jeftha (Kuromarimo) will also join the new season.

According to confirmation from author Eiichiro Oda, One Piece live-action Season 2 will depict Luffy and the Straw Hat crew's journey from Loguetown to Drum Island, covering key arcs from the original story such as Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, and Little Garden. With strong investment from Netflix, Season 2 promises stunning battles and an even more thrilling storyline.

Although the new season has yet to be released, Netflix has officially begun developing the script for Season 3. Producers Joseph Tracz and Matt Owens will continue overseeing the content and serving as executive producers. While Netflix has not yet confirmed the renewal of Season 3, the early formation of a writing team suggests the platform has high expectations for the long-term success of the One Piece series.
